We currently have three open positions.

Job: Warehouse/Driver

Location: Rapid City, SD 

Job Duties:

  • Load truck so that it is organized and safe from damage
  • Deliver products to customers
  • Check with customer to see if there are any returns
  • Be friendly and courteous not to take to much of customers time
  • Write down customer product orders, if asked
  • Complete profit readings when needed
  • Complete paint mixing orders
  • Help receive and pull product
  • When not on route help with other duties as assigned
  • Participate in company meetings and initiatives
  • Represent the company to the community in a positive manner, consistent with its marketing and customer goals

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Valid drivers license with good driving record
  • Good interpersonal skills: ability to work with others
  • Good organizational skills: ability to complete tasks in a given time frame
  • Be flexible: ability to change routes if needed

Special Requirements:

  • Be able to lift 70 lb., large bulky items such as windshields, fenders, etc.
  • Will be exposed to different weather conditions: heat, cold, humidity, or wind
  • Appropriate ABS uniform is required
  • Will handle paint and solvents

Job: Operations Manager

Location: Sioux Falls, SD 

Job Summary: This position is responsible for: Maintenance and repair of all buildings, trucks, and computer equipment of Auto Body Specialties and overseeing the tool repair service, and warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee tool repair service:
    • Train technician
    • Oversee tool repairs
  • Oversee fleet of trucks for all stores
    • Performs preventative maintenance
    • Coordinate repairs on trucks
    • Prepare new trucks
    • Keep service log for Sioux Falls trucks
  • Oversee all aspects of maintenance with the building and equipment for all stores
    • Coordinate the service and updates of all plumbing, heating/A.C., electrical, phones, and computers
    • Coordinate building repairs, additions, or remodeling with store managers
    • Assist store managers in assessing needs for their facilities
  • Oversee the warehouse
    • Oversee the unloading of incoming freight
    • Coordinate the pulling and loading of product for delivery and commuter vans
    • Coordinate and assist in putting inventory away
    • Oversee the branch store coordinator with transferring of product
  • Oversee UPS computerized shipping
  • Participate in company meetings initiatives as appropriate
  • Represent the Company to the community in a positive manner, consistent with its marketing and customer goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Background in plumbing, heating, A/C, or electrical necessary
  • Ability to read parts breakdown and to reassemble tools and equipment
  • Computer knowledge necessary
  • Good organizational skills
  • Valid drivers license with good driving record
  • Forklift experience and permit
  • Communication skills: ability to work with and listen to people
  • Good interpersonal skills: Ability to deal with individuals in a tactful, congenial, and personal manner
  • Present a professional manner and attitude

Special Requirements:

  • Be able to lift 70lbs, large bulky items such as windshields, fenders, etc.
  • Appropriate ABS uniform shirt required
  • Training when provided is expected
  • Occasional weekend and evening hours
  • Will handle paint and solvents
